An EnerGuide rating shows a standard measure of a home’s energy performance. The ratings are certified by natural resources Canada (NRCan). For a brand-new house, a rating of 80 or higher is excellent and RDC strives for this in all new builds.
ENERGY STAR® for New Homes is a new qualification standard for homes in British Columbia and is delivered through the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC (CHBA BC). ENERGY STAR is an internationally recognized brand and a trusted symbol in identifying energy-efficient products.
The Renomark™ symbol identifies those professional renovation contractors who have agreed to the Association’s Code of Ethics as well as a renovation-specific Code of Conduct. RDC is a certified Renomark™ builder in BC.
